Support for the children of Shama and Shehzad (Victims of Blasphemy Accusation)
Shama and Shehzad, the ill-fated Christian couple from Kot Radha Kishan, District Kasur were brutally tortured and burnt to death in the furnace of a brick kiln by an angry mob over an alleged blasphemy accusation in November 2014; the incident did not only send a wave of horror across the country but shocked the entire world.
We, at The CICF could not just sit back and not reach out to these distraught children. Right from the very onset undertook the responsibility to take care and educate all the three children of the couple. We bear all their education and general welfare related expenses. Today Suleiman Sonia and Poonam are healthy, happy and doing so well in life.
A stipend is also paid to their grandfather for their general well-being.
